These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Friendlink mobile application and related services ("Service") operated by Friendlink ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and have the authority to bind yourself or your organization to these Terms.
Account and Conduct
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- Keep your account credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized access
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Not harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users or third parties
- Not use the Service to spam, impersonate others, or distribute malicious content
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to the community or the Service.
Content and Activities
You are responsible for the content you post and the activities you create or join. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a limited license to use, display, and distribute it as necessary to operate the Service. You must not post content that infringes others' rights, is illegal, or violates our policies.
Meeting Others Offline
Friendlink helps you discover and join offline activities. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not conduct background checks. Meet in public when appropriate and use your judgment. We are not liable for any harm resulting from in-person meetings arranged through the Service.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Friendlink or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Friendlink and its affiliates, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Friendlink harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Friendlink operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
